PETER VERMEERSCH
Founder of X-Legged Sally, A Group and Flat Earth Society. He's one of the godfathers of contemporary music in Belgium. As a producer, he was co-responsible for the sound of dEUS's debut album "Worst Case Scenario". As a composer, he writes music for theatre and dance performances. He has written soundtracks, an opera and a tribute to Frank Zappa (The Purple Cucumber). He also writes compositions for the Flemish Radio Orchestra, the Spiegel String Quartet and various jazz & wind ensembles. He has played the clarinet on other bands' albums. YVES DE MEY
Aka EAVESDROPPER, is a sound wizard/designer from Brussels obsessed with contemporary electronic sounds. He writes pieces for theatre (Toneelhuis), dance performances (Scratching the Inner Fields by Wim Vandekeybus) and short films. He's also a producer for Radio Klara. Eavesdropper creates new rhythmical combinations and explores a world of computer-generated sounds. His great inspiration is John Williams, the man behind the Star Wars soundtracks. He has several albums to his credit. He has made remixes for Daan Stuyven, An Pierlé and Orange Black and is a regular performer at De Nachten in Antwerp (an annual literature and music festival) and at 10 Days Off in Ghent (a techno festival). GEERT D'HOLLANDER
Geert D'Hollander studied at the Royal Flemish Conservatory of Music in Antwerp and graduated from the Royal Carillon School in Mechin (Belgium) in 1982. He has won various national and international carillon contests both as a performer and as a composer. In 1997 he was appointed university carilloneur at the University of California, Berkeley, where he played the carillon every day and taught campanology and carillon history. In 1999 he resumed his duties as city carilloneur of Ghent, Antwerp, Lier and Sint Niklaas. He also took up a job as a composition teacher at the Royal Carillon School. Each Sunday afternoon he treats Ghent to a carillon concert; his father Jos takes his place on Fridays.
